Hi, and welcome to the fifth edition of MOPerations Weekly! Wanted to say thank you for all the feedback up until this point, it has been a blast creating these so far. I missed the newsletter last week, due to trying to finish up my time at Panorays in the best possible way, next week being my last week. A Weekly Tip - Cross Filters

Underutilized Salesforce trick: Cross Filters.

What do you do if you want to see all contacts from all accounts with a lost opportunity for a specific reason in the last 12 months? There is no out of the box report that could show that (Not only Contact Roles on the Opportunity but literally ALL contacts from the account).

Ideas that came in included building a campaign and manually adding contacts as campaign members, joint reports, creating a custom report type, etc.

But the easiest way is to take an out of the box Accounts and Contacts report, and use a cross filter of Contact with Opportunities. From there, you can include any field from the opportunities, and filter by them.

Spotlight on Tech - LucidChart

I really live off of my flow charts, both for documentation and planning ahead, and my favorite so far is LucidChart. It is easy to use, simple, intuitive, and has a good hierachy mechanism. There are Personal and Team versions, and I am a big fan.
